We are excited to be collaborating with WeWork, the global workspace provider who are well known for their innovative approach and, in 2018, became central London’s biggest office occupier. The way the world works is changing and WeWork are pushing the agenda on new, more flexible ways of working, shared workspaces and the use of technology to help achieve this – an approach that fits well with what we do at DMA.
In our own practice, we are challenging what a traditional architectural office should be and constantly testing out ways of improving collaboration, wellbeing and inclusion. Our ‘one big desk’ approach uses digital technology to facilitate this, embracing change and, as a relatively small business, adapting quickly. Increasingly we are being asked to design work space for teams of all sizes, ranging from our re-think of Arup’s 6 storey, central London headquarters, currently on site, to our small scale, pro-bono work with charitable organisations such as Fitzrovia Youth in Action and Maida Hill Place.
With WeWork, we’re working on their own branded spaces as well as projects for other international enterprise brands, both in London and further afield. This new association with WeWork promises a creative relationship and a shared, forward-looking approach.
