Our Studio Team Needs You!

Monday, August 5th, 2019

If you are looking for a new and exciting opportunity to develop your business skills in a creative environment, this could be just the role for you. At DMA we are much more than an architecture practice; we use the latest digital technology to solve difficult design problems and we do this by working closely with our clients, engineers and other building experts. Together we create better buildings for people to live, learn, work and play in, and it’s really rewarding to be improving the environment.

Because our practice is growing, our Studio Team are looking for a new member to join them to help in the management of our friendly team and office. This new Studio Assistant role is an apprenticeship, so you’ll earn and learn at the same time leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. It is a full time, permanent position with a competitive salary and the opportunity to stay on after completing Level 3 to gain higher qualifications and take on further responsibilities. The successful candidate will work alongside the Studio Manager to support the Practice Director in a diverse range of areas including front-of-house, office management, finance, marketing and business development giving you plenty of scope to explore the different aspects of business management.

You’ll be articulate with a “can do” attitude and the ability to build rapport naturally with people at all levels. The office is fast paced and support requirements change daily so you must have a flexible approach and be willing to get involved and take responsibility wherever required. Often privy to confidential information, discretion is imperative. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can really make the most of this opportunity, bringing new ideas to improve what we do and developing their role within the team. You’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of this friendly architecture studio where, as well as working hard, we enjoy doing plenty of fun social things together too.

You can find further details here and you are welcome to get in touch to find out more by e-mailing Jess our Studio Manager at  j.hardy@david-miller.co.uk.
