Community & Regeneration

Based in Fitzrovia in the heart of London, we appreciate the importance of cohesive and sustainable communities. Through membership of local community groups such as Westminster Business Council and The Fitzrovia Partnership and working with our clients, we are actively involved in a range of projects and organisations that promote regeneration and inclusion within the city.

Our involvement includes sending volunteers to work together with pupils and staff at schools on the Open-City Architecture in Schools project as well as mentoring and providing work placements for young people interested in careers in the built environment. Our regeneration projects focus on improving the quality of environment for local residents and working with them to create new amenities as we have done with a new adult education centre for Westminster City Council and by providing our architectural services on a pro-bono basis to Westminster Artisans, a social enterprise group, to develop a derelict restaurant into a community cafe and kitchen.

We are also involved in Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) you can see a video of their street party here, the Stephen Lawrence Charitable TrustWomen in Social Housing (WISH) and the London Festival of Architecture. More details on some of these can be found on the following pages.
