At DMA we place equal value on design and delivery excellence. Since we began in 2000, our track record of producing inspiring designs and delivering them on time and on budget has earned us high-profile repeat clients in both the private and public sectors.
David Miller has a heritage in the design and delivery of award-winning, three dimensionally complex buildings gained in the offices of Norman Foster, Santiago Calatrava and Future Systems. At Future Systems, David was the Project Architect on the Stirling prize-winning NatWest Media Centre at Lord’s Cricket Ground. His expertise in combining 3D skills with new technology to enhance the design of everyday buildings is what drives the practice today.
We are early adopters of the cutting edge Building Information Modelling (BIM) approach, which drives cost and carbon reductions. Designing buildings in 3D means that clients and stakeholders can experience how finished buildings will look from the outset. And using BIM throughout the whole development process ensures that our output is fully co-ordinated and consistent. We develop integrated models with structure and services information, which can also include Facilities Management data to help run the finished building efficiently.
Sustainability is a priority for us and our approach is to come up with real-world solutions that have the capability to accommodate emerging technologies as they become more cost-effective. We have extensive experience of BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes and upgrading buildings to enhance energy efficiency.
Based in Fitzrovia in the heart of London, we appreciate the importance of cohesive and sustainable communities. We are actively involved in a range of projects and organisations that promote regeneration and inclusion within the city.
We train and develop our team so that they are empowered to take responsibility in their dealings with clients and suppliers and we are committed to quality in all aspects of our work. In short, we offer the personal service, responsiveness and creativity of a small practice, along with the reassurance of big practice delivery and quality control systems.
