Phase 2 of Oaklands School complete
Working with Bouygues UK as part of LB Tower Hamlet’s secondary education building programme, this second phase of work to Oaklands School completes the refurbishment works to the A&T and Victorian Buildings. The A&T Building’s rooftop playground has been reinstated with a new colourful rubber/concrete paving system, tensile roof canopy, built-in benches, planters and ‘windows’ providing views across London.
This will be open for the new school term and will also be opened up for use by the community for special events. The final phase, including completion of the new building and landscaping, is scheduled to finish by Christmas.
