David is to chair a panel discussion on BIM for SMEs as part of the BIM and Digital Construction Summit at London Build 2017. London Build, now in its third year has become the UK’s largest construction expo dedicated entirely to opportunities in London and the South of England.
To be held on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th October at Olympia, London Build is attended by thousands of industry influencers and leading professionals from contractors, developers, manufacturers, architects, engineers and more. David’s panel will discuss developing digital technologies specifically positioned to benefit SMEs, plus the challenges of adopting these new technologies and the growing need for greater collaboration amongst SME communities.
DMA was one of the earliest adopters of BIM in the UK and the use of digital design methodology is deployed on every project as ‘business-as-usual’. David commented:
“From the very beginning of DMA we have used 3D tools to develop all of our projects. Today BIM has become the norm and all our design work is digitally led. I am very much looking forward to being part of London Build this year and am interested to hear how other SMEs have introduced BIM into their delivery methods, and how by sharing these stories we can help other SMEs grow in confidence with their adoption of digital constriction processes.”
