New Area Service Centres complete
The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Susie Burbridge, has just opened a new Area Service Centre in Lupus Street for CityWest Homes, who manages Westminster City Council’s social housing. This is the second of two new offices that are part of a programme by CityWest Homes to improve their service to residents. The first office in Westbourne Terrace office opened in September. Redeveloped from existing estate offices, the challenge has been to adapt existing buildings to create open and welcoming environments that are spacious, light and flexible, on a tight budget. In both schemes, the public areas have been opened up and we have used colour and improved signage to make them feel more inviting and accessible to residents.
