Motor Yacht Admiral Bolitho – interior refit of 1960s motor yacht

The owners had recently bought this classic motor yacht, but it required a full refurbishment to bring it up to a modern specification. This unusual commission came from Pendennis Shipyard who had worked with David Miller on the award-winning NatWest Media Centre at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Using 3D modelling tools our proposal was to create a simple yet comfortable contemporary interior in keeping with the understated luxury of the original yacht design. Space is maximised with fitted units that wrap around the cabins. The walls and ceilings are panelled giving a uniformity and lightness to the space. The palette combines sleek white with traditional polished mahogany surfaces. Soft furnishings use white linen and white leather for upholstery.
