London Road Offices – refurbishment of 1960s office block

The refurbishment and enhancement of a 6000m2 six storey office building with ground floor workshop space in Isleworth. Originally constructed in the 1960s, the building presented a dour face to the surrounding area. Our approach was to uncover some of the lost details of the original building while updating and refreshing the facades.
The existing steel W20 windows were refurbished and new full height screens were installed at ground floor level creating a ‘shop front’ for the building. The original dark brick panels were rendered with self coloured render, whilst coloured film was applied to selected windows creating an impactful and uplifting facade. A new circular glass foyer structure was added to establish a clearly defined and inviting entrance.
