Liberty Fields extension completes
Twelve new self-contained studios have just been made available to students following the completion of a new building in Camberwell, the third phase of a project undertaken for Liberty Living Plc. The new accommodation links to an existing 1970s hall of residence and uses traditional building materials (like the adjacent Victorian terraced houses), but in a different, modern way. Pre-fabricated bathroom pods and a steel frame structure enabled a fast construction that worked around term times and an otherwise occupied building.
