Construction has started on the final scheme of Westminster City Council’s education building programme, George Eliot School in St John’s Wood. The £8million new building is set within parkland and will combine a nursery, infant and junior schools and a separate pupil referral unit for pupils aged 11-16 who are not able to attend mainstream education. It will be naturally ventilated with four green pitched roofs, and is due to complete next September. This is the eighth school that DMA has worked on with their client, Bouygues UK.
