CityWide Refurbishments, Westminster – social housing refurbishments

These refurbishment works form part of a programme to restore and re-use existing housing stock in Westminster. DMA have worked closely with CityWest Homes (Westminster City Council’s ALMO for Social Housing) and with the planning department to upgrade a variety of buildings.
They tend to be in sensitive locations in conservation areas and some have listed building status. The work involves extensive external refurbishment, such as adding a new portico where the original had decayed away, the upgrading and modernising of interiors and improving environmental performance.
